Can Canvas and Craft provide materials?

If you need us to provide some materials, we have a basic selection to choose from. Please contact us directly to discuss what you need and the cost.

Is it for all skill levels?

Yes! Please join us whatever your skill level. Even if you’re just starting out, it’s a safe and supportive space to learn. Our facilitator offers limited guidance, and if you’re a total novice, you’re welcome to stay for just an hour if that feels right for you.

Can we take photos?

It depends. While some models may be comfortable with being photographed, other prefer privacy due to their professional lives outside of life drawing. Please always follow life model etiquette – ask your model’s permission before taking any photos to complete your project, and don't share on social media.

Who can take part?

For clothed models, artist from 16 years up can join. For nude models, only participants 18+ of all genders and drawing abilities. Our sessions are inclusive, fun, and relaxed – no pressure to be “artistic”! It’s all about enjoying the experience together.

Will be model be nude?

At some sessions we will have a nude model. If you have a preference to only attend nude or clothed sessions, we will share the details in the week before the event.
